Questions About Two Weeks in Egypt
Everything you need to know before you travel
Is two weeks too long for Egypt?
No. Two weeks lets you add Alexandria, Abu Simbel and the Red Sea to Cairo and the Nile, at an easy pace.
What does a 14-day Egypt itinerary include?
Usually four days in Cairo and Giza, a Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, Abu Simbel, and several days on the Red Sea or in Alexandria.
Can I take a dahabiya instead of a cruise ship?
Yes. A dahabiya is a small sailing boat with a few cabins; it is slower and quieter than a cruise ship.
Do I need a visa for Egypt?
Most travellers need one. Many nationalities can buy an e-Visa online or get a visa on arrival; check the official Egypt e-Visa portal for your passport. We are happy to help.
Are your prices per person?
Yes. Prices are in US dollars per person, sharing a double room, and include what each trip lists. International flights are not included.
Can I change a trip?
Yes. Every trip is private, so we can add or remove days, change hotels or swap the cruise for a dahabiya. Send us your dates and we will send a new plan and price.
