After breakfast on board, your guide will accompany you for the last highlight of your Egypt tour, the magnificent:

The Karnak Temples

The Karnak Temples

The Karnak Temple is the most massive temple ever built by humans. This truly unique site covers 247 acres of land and consists of three main buildings. Its uniqueness lies not only in its vast size but also in the unique drawings and decorations adorning its walls. As the largest religious site, the Karnak Temple was primarily constructed for the worship of Amun, Khonsu, and Mut.

Afterward, visit another immortal structure in Luxor:

Luxor Temple

Luxor Temple

In the heart of Luxor, you will find the Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II.. Even Alexander the Great built a chapel for the ancient Egyptian gods. In ancient times, the Egyptians celebrated the most important festival in Thebes, the Opet Festival, at the Luxor Temple. In 1989, archaeologists accidentally discovered an underground chamber with well-preserved statues, now exhibited in the Luxor Museum. At the Luxor Temple, you can see a section of the Sphinx Alley that once connected the Luxor Temple with the Karnak Temple.

After the extensive visit, you will be taken back to the ship, and the rest of the day is at your disposal. You can stroll along the Corniche in Luxor or explore the old town. Simply enjoy your last day in Luxor.

Tip of the Day:

On this day, you will begin your morning by enjoying your breakfast then you go by horse and carriage to the Temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu where you will meet your Egyptologist Tour Guide:

Edfu Temple

Edfu Temple

A majestic Temple dedicated to the Horus Edfu Temple is considered by most to be the best-preserved cult Temple in Egypt. According to the Egyptian myths, the Temple was believed to be the place where Horus the falcon-headed God revenged the murder of Osiris his Father by killing Seth.

After the Edfu Temple, your enchanting journey continues as the ship sails towards Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, you will visit the:

Kom Ombo Temple

Kom Ombo Temple

The Temple of Kom Ombo is a unique ancient site that stands on a hill overlooking the Nile river. Unlike other temples, it has two entrances and two sets of halls, courts, and sanctuaries. This is because it was dedicated to two gods: Horus, the falcon-headed god of the sky, and Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of fertility and creation. The temple also reflects the importance of sugar cane cultivation in the region, as it contains a well-preserved Nilometer that was used to measure the water level and predict the harvest.

Once the surreal tour of the Temples has finished, you will return to your Nile Cruise to sail onwards to Aswan. You will arrive late and have a peaceful night.

After breakfast on board, where you can enjoy the beauty and atmosphere of the city of Aswan with its green islands and red granite rocks, you will take a trip to the surrounding area of the city. The first item on the agenda is a boat trip to the Agilika Island. There awaits you the last great sanctuary of ancient Egyptian religion, the enchanting:

The Philae Temple

The Philae Temple

One of the most remarkable Temples in Egypt is the Philae Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Isis. It was built during the Ptolemaic Period and became a center of her cult. The Temple was relocated to Agilika Island after the construction of the Aswan Dam to save it from flooding.

Next, visit the imposing High Dam, which impounds the Nile to Lake Nasser, with both positive and negative effects.

High Dam

High Dam

Aswan High Dam is a captivating engineering feat that is listed as the most remarkable project that belongs to the ruling period of President Gamal Abdul Nasser. The project started in 1960 to cover around 12,500 feet and was completed by 1971 to be responsible for almost half of the electricity generation in the country.

Abu Simbel Temples

Abu Simbel Temples

One of the most impressive monuments in Egypt’s history is Abu Simbel Temple, a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture. The temple was carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II, and it consists of two twin temples. The main temple was dedicated to the king and the smaller one was built to honor his beloved queen Nefertari.

Join your guide and a private vehicle for an early morning excursion to Abu Simbel. Witness the sunrise on your way there and admire the mirage on your way back from Abu Simbel. This is a unique opportunity to explore the magnificent temples of Ramses II and Nefertari in a professional and comfortable manner.

You can soak up the sun on the deck, dive into a good book, or participate in some of the ship’s activities. The scenic beauty and rich history of the Nile will enchant you throughout the day.
